Training Overview: The Pyramid Model is a collaborative professional development system that fosters and sustains evidenced-based practices to support the social-emotional development and inclusion of children. The Colorado Pyramid Model Training is a 50-hour training series that supports early educators to recognize and reduce challenging behaviors in children while increasing positive behaviors. It also reduces stress, burnout, and turnover among existing early childhood educators and staff, keeping child care facilities open and operating. Participants who complete this training will receive a Training of Special Recognition badge in Colorado’s Professional Development Information System (PDIS) that opens various career development pathways.

Attendance Policy
Participants must attend and actively participate in all 50-hours of training to successfully complete the training and receive a certificate of completion and the Training of Special Recognition badge in the Professional Development Information System (PDIS).
In extreme circumstances, a participant may miss up to three (3) modules; participant must make up missed modules within 14 days at a fee of $15 per module.
Participants will need to re-enroll in a new training course and start over if they miss more than three (3) modules, or if they miss 15-minutes or more of the first module.
Virtual training will be offered via Zoom and participants are required to actively participate using audio and visual.
